Suisse Pliage — Configurator 📏 SEGMENT DIMENSIONINGGuide for taking measurements to correctly configure your sheet metal bending profiles. |
📏 All segment dimensions are given as external measurements |
⚠ Important: remember to account for sheet metal thicknesses in order to correctly calculate the parts to be assembled. |
Section 01 SEGMENT ORIENTATION |
Section 02 SEGMENT MEASUREMENT METHODS |
For an accurate representation of the part's cross-section, special attention must be paid to the measurement reference points. The method depends on the bend angle:

→ Same direction All bends face the same side. The external dimension applies continuously on each segment. |

Section 02 MEASUREMENT METHODS |
Method depends on the bend angle: |
📏 Direct parallel measurement |
For a closed angle (≤ 90°). Measured directly, parallel to the outer face. |

Angle ≤ 90° |

△ Apex measurement |
For an open angle (> 90°). Measured at the imaginary intersection of the two segments (apex). |
